We do NOT recommend sizing up in this style especially if you have a shorter girl as this dress is already made to hit right above the knees. We recommend washing all items inside out in a laundry bag or on delicate in cold water on a general cycle with non phosphorus detergent and without zippers/buttons/Velcro/other hard materials that could snag.
